Hope for the homeless
Villages of Hope is a campaign to address the moral tragedy of homelessness that continues in Silicon Valley.
Take action now
We need you to voice your support for new initiatives to help the homeless in San Jose, Santa Clara County, and neighboring cities. We need you to help us build a movement to address this moral crisis of homelessness.
Our mission
- Organize a community campaign in Santa Clara County to press local officials to take meaningful steps to provide reasonable alternatives to people living on the street.
- to press for and assist in the creation of organized “Villages” using emergency sleeping cabins (and similar structures) for the thousands of our homeless neighbors living on the streets.
- Creation of Villages with minimum barriers to entry and participation using Pallet Shelters or other similar EMERGENCY SLEEPING CABINS.

Empowering residents
Research has shown that permanent progress for homeless individuals is not available until they have a safe place to live. Once housed, services can be provided to residents and they can contribute to managing their village giving them ownership and integrity.
Benefits
Cleaner neighborhoods, parks, and rivers
Consistent services for residents
Health and safety improvements for residents and neighbors
A cleaner, more attractive neighborhood
